CSUSM Lecture Hall - HVAC Replacement

  • Sector: Government, Education

  • Service: HVAC

  • Client: California State University, San Marcos

  • Location: San Marcos, CA

  • Year Completed: 2024

  • Contracted Amount: $200,000

  • Overview: Paradigm removed the existing Pace air handler, associated piping, ductwork, soffit-mounted outside air ducting, and T-bar ceiling system in the storage area. We also removed VCT flooring and light fixtures to prepare the space for new equipment. A temporary plywood ramp was constructed to safely transport and stage the new Daikin fan coil unit.

Paradigm installed the fan coil on the manufacturer-supplied base rails and relocated all necessary utilities—including plumbing, ductwork, and control wiring—to the new equipment location.

We installed new actuators, valves, and upgraded the DDC controls to meet campus specifications and Title 24 compliance.

Final scope included installation of LED lighting, new ceiling grid and tiles, drywall repair, and complete painting of the piano storage room.
