Paradigm Awarded Full Remodel Of Building 94 Coronado
When Paradigm Mechanical Corp. was awarded an HVAC renovation at Build 94 Coronado on the Naval Air Station North Island in San Diego, CA, we jumped right in. The project was later upgraded to a full remodel with Paradigm as the general contractor.

On July 31, 2019 Paradigm Mechanical Corp., a woman-owned mechanical contracting company, was awarded its largest contracts to date. By securing two $49M contracts for the Naval Facilities Engineering Command Southwest, the company continues to show its commitment to providing outstanding service at a fair price.

MCTC Construction Update: Sump Installation
Woman-owned DBE firm Paradigm Mechanical identified a value engineering idea that reduced the tank size and eliminated the need for a pump. This pump-less design lowered both the cost of construction and future servicing of the sump system. After almost a year of redesign and sump tank fabrication, installation has begun. The initial sump tank installation is in progress at the Executive Drive station.

Toast To The Trades 2019
Tuesday night, March 5th our fearless leader, and Vice President for the Future Construction Leaders Foundation, Melinda Dicharry, presented at the NAWIC SD Toast to the Trades dinner. She discussed 2019 Camp NAWICand how we have tripled in size over the last few years thanks to everyone’s hard work, as well as, the support from our sponsors. She introduced Ana Gutierrez, who was a camper at our very first Camp NAWIC, also known as Magic Camp. Ana shared her experience and the impact it made on her and her family, she is now a Project Engineer at Clark Construction. Our presenter for the evening was Kayleen McCabe, General Contractor, and TV Host for Rescue Renovation, was able to visit some of our local High Schools and talk to the girls in the shop classes about the different paths they could take to have a career in the construction industry.

Paradigm Mechanical Corp. was recognized by the San Diego Business Journal as one of San Diego County’s top 100 fastest growing companies based on its percentage increase in revenue between fiscal years 2013 and 2016. To be considered for the prestigious listing, companies needed to be privately held and based in San Diego County. The data sources used were the companies, CPA attestation letters, and San Diego Business Journal list files.

Congratulations Barbara Thompson, Construction Industry Specialist
Barbara attended the NAWIC Construction Industry Specialist training class over a span of 8 weeks. The class covers construction management, drawings, bidding techniques, construction processes, and construction law. Barbara completed the course and passed the exam to become a Construction Industry Specialist. Well done Barbara!

Paradigm Mechanical Corp. sponsors team “Paradigm Serves” participating in the Komen San Diego Race for the Cure event on Sunday, November 6 in Balboa Park. Paradigm employees raised funds for the fight against breast cancer right here in San Diego. Founder and CEO Melinda Dicharry was honored by the SD Metro magazine as 40 Under 40 Class of 2014 honoree.
The 14th annual 40 Under 40 awards ceremony honored 40 men and women under the age of 40 who have excelled in their professional lives as well as contributed to their professional trade and local community. Teran Breceda, current president of NAWIC San Diego Chapter #21 and owner of Breceda Landscape, nominated Dicharry for the prestigious honor.
