Melinda Dicharry

CEO/PRESIDENT

Melinda Dicharry founded Paradigm Mechanical Corp. in 2010 with a mission to elevate customer service in the construction industry. Her leadership, innovation, and discipline continue to set the company apart. In September 2024, she expanded operations by acquiring San Diego Refrigeration. Today, Melinda continues to invest in Paradigm's success through reliable partnerships with clients, engineers, designers, subcontractors, and vendors.

Raised in an entrepreneurial family, Melinda developed a strong work ethic early on. She found her passion for construction while serving as Controller for a major HVAC firm in San Diego. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Finance), is a Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional (CCIFP), and is a licensed California General (B) and HVAC (C-20) Contractor with over 24 years of industry experience.

Outside of work, Melinda enjoys time at the beach, cheering on the San Diego Padres, and giving back to the community. She has served as President of the San Diego Chapter of the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC), Vice President of the Future Construction Leaders, a board member of Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC), and President of the Board of Directors for the Boys and Girls Clubs of East County.

Kyle Fletcher

REFRIGERATION SERVICE MANAGER

Kyle Fletcher plays a key role in managing the day-to-day operations at San Diego Refrigeration, both in the office and the field. A California native, Kyle is a seasoned industry professional with over 11 years of experience and holds HVAC/R and HVAC/R Controls Certificates from City College.

He began his career in the parts department and steadily advanced by gaining hands-on knowledge and technical expertise. Today, as a trusted leader, Kyle takes pride in ensuring every project runs efficiently and meets the highest standards. His hands-on approach and commitment to operational excellence contribute directly to the team’s success and the company’s continued growth.

Beyond operations, Kyle is passionate about mentoring new technicians and helping them grow into skilled professionals. Always ready to support his team, he ensures technicians have the guidance and resources they need from start to finish.

One of Kyle’s favorite pastimes is racing at Barona Speedway with his wife and kids. Looking ahead, he remains excited about the evolving HVAC/R industry and the opportunities that come with new technologies—finding daily motivation in the challenges and advancements the field brings.

Crystal Tidball

ACCOUNTING MANAGER

Crystal Tidball, a San Diego native, brings over 25 years of experience in accounting and financial management. Her background spans real estate development and government contracting. She began her career with a prominent real estate developer, contributing to landmark projects such as the Manchester Grand Hyatt (2nd Tower) and the Fairmont Grand Del Mar.

After 11 years in real estate development, Crystal transitioned to the Navy ship repair industry, serving 10 years as a Controller. There, she mastered her skills in government job-cost accounting, gaining a deep understanding of the complexities involved in this sector. She approaches accounting with a problem-solving mindset, viewing it as an opportunity to uncover and resolve financial discrepancies.

When she isn’t solving complex financial puzzles, Crystal enjoys desert camping, baseball games, wine tasting, and spending time with her family. She is also an avid San Diego Padres fan.

Andrina Clay

HEAD OF PEOPLE OPERATIONS

Andrina Clay is dedicated to building strong relationships and fostering a positive, inclusive workplace culture. She recognizes the critical role of the human element in the organization and strives to create an environment where individuals can thrive.

Beginning her career in construction in 2008 as a receptionist in the HVAC trade, Andrina gained valuable experience in daily operations and customer interactions. Her commitment to growth led her to take on more responsibilities, ultimately earning a position on the management team.

With a deep understanding of the trade, Andrina connects talented individuals with roles in vital infrastructure. She is passionate about making a positive impact on others' work experiences and cultivating an environment where employees feel valued and empowered. Whether resolving challenges or celebrating achievements, she finds fulfillment in helping others succeed.

Beyond work, Andrina volunteers with animal rescues and senior citizen homes, making a meaningful difference in the lives of vulnerable animals and seniors. These experiences deepen her compassion and underscore the importance of giving back to the community.

Project Management Team

EDUARDO VALLE - BRENT BORDEN - NATE ALVAREZ

At Paradigm Mechanical Corp, our Project Management team is led by a dynamic trio—Brent Borden, Nathaniel Alvarez, and Eduardo Valle—who bring a powerful blend of experience, technical expertise, and leadership to every project. Collectively spanning over three decades in the construction and mechanical industries, this team excels in managing complex federal, state, and commercial projects with a focus on quality, safety, and client satisfaction. Each Project Manager contributes unique strengths: Brent’s steady coordination and federal project expertise, Nate’s hands-on leadership and background in plumbing and HVAC, and Eduardo’s process-driven approach, rooted in government contracting and civil engineering. Together, they form the backbone of Paradigm’s commitment to excellence, delivering projects that reflect our core values of precision, teamwork, and impact.

Eduardo Valle

Originally from Veracruz, Mexico, Eduardo Valle is a Project Manager with 13 years of experience in the construction industry and four years at Paradigm Mechanical Corp. After moving to San Diego in 2017, Eduardo brought his expertise in government contracting and general construction to the U.S. market. With a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and AGC certifications in Project Management and QC, he’s known for his organization, professionalism, and process improvement contributions, such as streamlining Paradigm’s submittal process. Eduardo is a two-time Core Values Award winner and finds balance between work and life by hiking, enjoying new food spots, and attending Padres games.

Brent Borden

Brent Borden is a dedicated Project Manager with nearly five years at Paradigm Mechanical Corp specializing in federal and state construction projects across HVAC and general contracting scopes. With certifications in CQM, EM-385, and an AGC Project Management Certificate, Brent is known for his calm, solution-focused leadership and strong communication skills. He manages a range of mechanical and construction projects, ensuring client satisfaction through detailed coordination and quality execution. Brent is driven by the satisfaction of seeing a project through from start to finish and enjoys relaxing at the beach, lake, or river with his family.

Nathaniel (Nate) Alvarez

Nate Alvarez brings over 15 years of industry experience and a strong HVAC and plumbing background to his role as Project Manager at Paradigm Mechanical Corp, where he has made an immediate impact since joining in 2024. Proficient in estimating and project execution, he has led major efforts at sites like Cuyamaca College and 29 Palms. Nate is recognized for being a team-first leader who prioritizes safety, efficiency, and success for everyone involved. A recipient of Paradigm’s Core Values Awards for both Attention to Detail and Impact, Nate finds motivation in helping teams thrive. Outside of work, he enjoys time outdoors with family and supports ALS awareness through community fundraising events.
