Paradigm’s committed and passionate leadership is as dynamic as it is detail-oriented – and intimately involved in both our communities and local trade associations.
Founder, CEO & President
Melinda Dicharry founded Paradigm Mechanical Corp. on strong principles, with the goal of setting the standard for the industry. As a proven 17-year construction industry leader, Melinda’s mission is to always exceed customers’ expectations. She builds solid partnerships with clients, engineers, designers, subcontractors, and vendors to deliver a quality product on time — and under the owner’s budget.
Melinda grew up in an entrepreneurial environment. She has incorporated innovative thinking into all of her career positions – gaining a wealth of experience in construction insurance, bonding, finance, consulting, and management. Working in the controller position of a large San Diego HVAC mechanical contractor, she realized an opportunity existed for a company that would use project team experience, technical knowledge, and creativity to address and implement solutions to any challenge a building project might present. This vision and drive is also what sets Melinda’s team of subject-matter experts at Paradigm apart from all the rest.
Melinda is a Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional (CCIFP). She served as President of the San Diego Chapter of National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) for two years. Currently, she is the Vice President of the Future Construction Leaders Foundation and serves on the board of the East County Boys and Girls Clubs.
