On July 31, 2019, Paradigm Mechanical Corp., a woman-owned mechanical contracting company, was awarded its largest contracts to date. By securing two $49M contracts for the Naval Facilities Engineering Command Southwest, the company continues to show its commitment to providing outstanding service at a fair price.

With these contracts, Paradigm has stepped to the next level in our federal contracting business plan and has secured a steady backlog to finish 2019 and the years following. We are proud to say that everyone on our team is contributing to this success,” said Melinda Dicharry, Paradigm Mechanical Corp. Founder, CEO & President.

Paradigm was awarded these contracts based on a few factors. First, they have a proven track record supporting the Navy. They have already completed projects for them at the Point Loma and Coronado Naval Bases and the 32nd Street Naval Station. In addition, Paradigm continues to put safety first with a low EMR, past safety record, and detailed current safety plan. Finally, they understand the importance of addressing their client’s unique needs on time and on budget.

The first contract is for general construction at three California locations: The Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center, Twentynine Palms; Marine Corps Logistics Base, Barstow; and Mountain Warfare Training Center, Bridgeport.

The second contract is for plumbing, heating, and air conditioning construction alterations, renovations and repair at the following four locations: Naval Air Weapons Station, China Lake; Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center, Twentynine Palms; Marine Corps Logistics Base, Barstow; and Mountain Warfare Training Center, Bridgeport.

Paradigm has already kicked off both contracts and is actively hiring local subcontractors and teaming partners to work in Barstow, Bridgeport, China Lake, and Twentynine Palms. If you are interested in working on these projects please contact us.

These contracts are expected to run through July 2024. Paradigm is thrilled to be partnering with the Navy once again to ensure their facilities are maintained and upgraded for the future.
